Elemech is one of Kenya’s leading integrated energy company. We are involved in virtually every facet of the energy industry. We explore for, Installation and construction of Transmission & Distribution Lines, Air Insulated Substation, Construction equipment, tools & machinery, Automobiles for transportation of heavy loads, manufacture of Crushing stones and in molds design involving automatic process of CNC machines

Company Roots

We trace our beginnings to a 2002 Transmission line project in energy sector in Zambia as Agro Industrial Kenya ltd a registered company under Kenya company act in Nairobi. That company later became Agro Industrial tools ltd and, subsequently, Elemech Engineering (K) Ltd was incorporated on 16th day of March in 2007 By Mr. Ramji Naren Patel.

Agro-Industrial Kenya Ltd now engaged in business of manufacturing and trading of construction tools.
We also started business in Zambia and incorporated there as Agro Industrial tools (Zambia) Ltd. In 2007, after observing the growth and potential in the energy sector Mr. Patel registered a separate company “Elemech Engineering (K) Ltd” to take care of business in the energy sector. In year 2012 we incorporated in Tanzania under name and title Elemech Engineering (TZ) Ltd. Our operations speeded in Kenya, Tanzania and Zambia. We execute civil, electrical and electro mechanical projects. We have installed and commissioned substations up to 132kv and constructed 66 KV / 33 KV / 11 KV / LV power distribution lines and 400 KV / 220 KV / 132 KV power transmission lines

Another part of our history is the Amolak Singh Isher Singh & Sons crusher plant owned by Mr. Patel, AMM engineering an automatic dye manufacturing plant & owned by Mr. Patel and the recent one Equipment’s sales Kenya Ltd involving the assembling of industrial automobile heavy truck from well-known company TATA from India owned by Mr. Ramji Naren Patel.

Global Scope

Our diverse and highly skilled global workforce consists of approximately 120 permanent employees, including more than 400 employees as Site managers, Site engineers, foremen’s, technicians, and supervisors
In 2015-2017, Elemech’s average net Turn over is 0.758 billion Kenyan kshillings.
Currently we are executing our projects across whole over the globe of eastern Africa including Zambia, Tanzania, Kenya and Ghana in West Africa.

Technology and Energy Sector

We focus on technologies that improve our ability to find, develop and construct the new ways of transmission and Distribution systems in energy sector using optimum resources available and the new techniques
We also invest in the development of new ideas, such as finding better ways to commission live line work such as OPGW under live conditions.

Mr. Patel efforts to improve on our safe work environment continue to pay off. In 2011, we achieved strong safety results, including competency certificates & permits from Kenya power & lighting co. (a company registered under ministry of energy) to our employees.
